Conducting Your ‘Report of Findings’ Call

Before Your ‘Report of Findings’ Call

  • Create and submit your plan for review: to Lynn for Silver members, and Dr. Ritamarie for Gold and Gold-Plus members. Include any questions you have before presenting to the client.  See above for how to submit.
  • If the ERC member has submitted labs, enter them in the ‘Lab Results’ tab on the Health Tracker.  Also put them in the Blood Chemistry Software, and run a report to share with the member.  Make sure to upload both the Practitioner and Patient Report into their Google Drive.
  • If there are any supplements you think might be helpful, list them in the ‘Supplements – Suggested’ tab. Include brands and links to online suppliers, if appropriate.  Also add suggested timing and doses and a short phrase describing its purpose.
  • Complete the ‘Diet Plan’ and ‘Lifestyle Plan’ tabs in the Health Tracker.
  • Review their Diet Diary, if they’ve submitted it.
  • Email the ERC member to make sure they will be prepared on your call by having their Health Tracker up and ready to go through it with you together on the call.

During Your ‘Report of Findings’ Call

  • Greet the client with enthusiasm, and ask if they have any questions about the prior call and the suggestions you made.
  • Celebrate success if they’ve accomplished even a small part of what you asked them to do.
  • Make sure they have their Health Tracker up and ready to review together with you. If they were not able to complete anything, go over anything that might be coming up about it, and discuss for a minute or two if appropriate.  Remain positive and encouraging.  If you are using Zoom, you can share your screen as you go over it.
  • Let the client know that you’ve reviewed all the info that they’ve submitted, along with their diet diary, if included, and that today’s call is all about creating a plan together, and deciding on a 90 day ‘Bold Health Goal’.
  • Present your plan and get their feedback. Take time to go over the details.
  • Update the plan together and make changes to the document, if required. “Negotiate, ” including discussing “swaps” and phasing things in and out.
  • Set measurable goals with dates.
  • Answer their questions and address any concerns.
  • Encourage them to complete their weekly journal. Reinforce the value of doing so, and let them know that it’s the best way to get weekly support.
  • Encourage them to attend all monthly group calls with Dr. Ritamarie, the monthly FNC office hours calls, and your group calls.

After ‘Report of Findings’ call

  • Complete the ‘ERC coaching call notes’ Google Form and the appointment tracking follow-up form, as described above.
  • If you feel they are ready for a particular program, you can open it for them by checking it off on the form. Be careful to avoid overwhelm, and only open 1 program at a time, and only if they are ready.  For a full list, see the ‘Opening Modules/Programs Included in ERC’ page
  • After the recording is ready, upload it to their Google Drive folder, and put the Google Drive link in their Health Tracker, in the ‘Appointment Tracker’ tab. Note on the appointment tracker that the recording is for the report of findings call.   Email them to let them know that the recording has been posted.
  • Send a follow-up email to the client encouraging them, reminding them about the journals, Facebook group, and other ways to get support, and reinforcing that each step they take, even if small, is bringing them ever closer to their goals. Include the top three steps as a reminder of what they are to focus on.
