INE learning objectivesAs you work through the materials, your goals by the end will be to:

  • Understand the benefits of sleep on all the body systems, so you can motivate and inspire your clients to focus on getting a good night’s sleep
  • Understand the negative effects of lack of sleep, so you can recognize sleep deprivation in your clients even when they don’t admit to it
  • Become familiar with the phases of sleep, so you can help optimize restorative sleep in your clients
  • Be able to assess your client’s sleep cycles, so you can help them to optimize their sleep
  • Understand the hormones that are activated and that interact during sleep to better enable you to empower your clients to restore balance
  • Explain the relationship between lack of sleep and increased appetite and weight gain, so you can better assist your clients to achieve their ideal weight
  • Be familiar with common sleep disorders, so you can guide your clients to the activities and habits that can help them recover
  • Develop a deep understanding and familiarity of all the herbs, nutrients, essential oils, and foods that support sleep, so you can guide your clients to achieve deep, restorative sleep
