Action Steps:

  • Review the sample lab reports and case studies from the module.
  • Using either yourself or a client with symptoms of fatty acid imbalance as a case study, make notes about which lab tests you feel might be appropriate for this case, and explain why
  • Share your notes (maintaining client anonymity) in the Facebook group and encourage discussion with your colleagues.
  • Select one of the lab tests you studied in this module that you believe to be the most appropriate and recommend that your client order the test (or order the test for yourself).
  • Study the interpretation guide and review the sections of the core content videos pertaining to that test.
  • When the results come back, analyze and explain the resulting lab report, tweaking your original Fatty Acid Nutritional Modulation protocol or creating a new one as indicated by the report.
  • Record lab tests, protocol, and progress in the Master Health Tracker, using the Lab Follow-Up tab (or similar client tracker).
  • Submit the case study as a PowerPoint presentation for review on one of our NEPT Case Study calls.
  • Schedule follow-up assessments and order follow-up lab tests if necessary.
