INE learning objectivesAs you work through the materials, your goals by the end will be to:

  • Understand the presenting client complaints of immune system dysfunction so you can pinpoint areas of imbalance to be corrected.
  • Understand the impact of chronic physical, mental, environmental, and food stress on the immune system, so you can support your client in making targeted diet and lifestyle changes.
  • Know how to assess immune system function via the use of questionnaires, Interviews, routine blood chemistry, specialized blood testing, food sensitivity/gluten testing, and fatty acid testing.
  • Be able to identify the physical exam signs of immune dysfunction so you can monitor for improvement without the expense of frequent lab tests.
  • Be familiar with the Oxidative Stress Assessment and the Oxidata test for determining free radical damage/immune function so you can guide clients to easily monitor progress at home.
  • Know which lab tests are appropriate for assessing immune function and how to order the tests for clients.
  • Understand how to interpret various lab markers for immune function and be able to identify the markers for immune system dysfunction.
  • Understand the immune system’s effect upon proper thyroid, adrenal, digestive and detoxification function, so you can support your client to attain the vibrant health they deserve.
  • Be familiar with the case studies presented involving immune system dysfunction; know how to recognize and address similar patterns in your own clients.
