INE learning objectivesAs you work through the materials, your goals by the end will be to:

  • Understand how and when it is appropriate to assess clients’ digestive status using lab evaluations.
  • Understand how to look for digestive markers on a routine blood chemistry test
  • Understand, be able to explain, and interpret the following lab tests:
    • Diagnostechs: Comprehensive stool test with parasitology
    • OAT – Organic Acids Test from Great Plains Labs – markers for gut pathogens, candida, etc.
    • Biohealth: GI Pathogen screen, with or without H-Pylori
    • Metametrix/Genova: CDSA, GI Effects (including sensitivity tests, Intestinal Permeability
    • Hydrogen/Methane Breath Test for SIBO, candida
    • Enterolab: Gluten Test – Stool Antibodies
    • Cyrex Labs: Blood tests for intestinal permeability, gluten cross reactivity, gluten antibodies complete
    • Doctor’s Data Comprehenive digestive analysis with parasites and sensitivities
  • Track client lab markers, progress, and update client protocols using the Master Health Tracker spreadsheet
